LS/Vento Zip/Max generic brand and Yammy

okay i know this thread is a month old, but now i gotta put in MY two cents as well...

if a Venice is really just as good, comes with all those extra features.. (man i'd sure appreciate a free lock and cover...) AND costs a lot less, then i'm feelin super ripped off with my Vino here... wtf?!

is this feeling justified? or is a Vino really worth more in some way, shape, or form?

I think the Vino and the Venice are actually made by the same manufacturer for Yamaha and TNG. If you buy the Yamaha, you are mainly paying for the name and for the convienience of having a large number of dealerships all over the place.

My stock Vento ZipR3 does 45-47STOCK with carb tuning(no jet change), and one hole drilled in the end of the stock pipe only. I KNOW i could get it to 55+ VERY easily!!

the Venice and Vino are not made by the same manufactures and 90% of the parts are not interchangeable. It use to amaze me the number of people who'd come in to the YMC sjhop with Venice parts trying to fit them on thier Vino and could not do so. Neither could or would we.
