Hello all I am here to report that I have set out on the grand adventure to answer the question about similarities between the TNG Milano and the Vino 125. I have measured with the help of a friend who owns a Milano, and the rear winkers look like they will fit. I had the fenders off of my vino this weekend and the attachment points look to be in the right place just waiting for the hardware. And, as of 5 minutes ago I have ordered the hardware from a local TNG dealer. Hopefully, within a week or so I will have a complete report including photo descriptions. I will keep you all posted.

If you have a local TnG dealer near you, can you ask them if the 2001 Venice headlight cover will fit a 2001 Vino? ?

I've emailed a dealer with no luck.
thanks

if there isn't a TNG dealer near you, The Scooter Lounge which is loosely associated with ProvoScooter is a TNG dealer---maybe David can check on the Venice's headlight cover for you to see if it will work on a Vino

The Milano winkers do fit the Vino 125 - need to cut a small piece off but other than that they fit. The lower nose seat also fits the Vino 125. You can also retro-fit the small speedo windscreen of the Venice (will need a dremel tool and the bloxies to cut into you Vino. See my garage. I was going to put the whisker lights on but opted to get the small cover pieces airbrushed to match my new muffler heat cover I am getting airbrushed and my crankcase cover that is also in my garage. If anyone in Canada needs these parts I have a source in Ontario that sells a copies of the TNG. Called Pertutti in Canada.

Lights arrived today. After a brief test fitting of the turns there will be a minor modification to the front attachment post on each I will be removing about 1/8" from them to make them fit. Unfortunately, I am in the middle of a huge project for work and will not have time to do the actual work and photography until next weekend. Otherwise it all looks good. Parts for this have run about $112.00 US. thanks

Zgraphic-- $112 seems pretty high. Are you doing both front and rear winkers?

thanks for the concern sooznd,
$112 included the tail light as well, and shipping about $6.00. Although, I haven't fitted the tail yet but it certainly looks like it will work. That whole tail assembly is just a beast to take apart at least from the standpoint of not ever having done it. Who knows I will post a step by step soon.

zgraphic--with a tail alight assembly, that's not so bad. I paid around $65 for the front & rear winkers on my Vino 50.

Please do post a "How to" for the Vino 125 winker & taillight customizations. I am thinking about upgrading to the 125 & would definitely appreciate the instructions. :)

Zgraphic--any photos yet of your blinker install?

I am trying to figure out something more attractive for the front blinkers on my new Vino 125.. any ideas?

I am thinking of ordering the bullet style blinkers that come with the 2006 Vino 50 , but ouch the dealer said the pair was $96...maybe I need to save my money ;) or consider some other options

I like the idea of the bullet style blinkers. I'm not sure why Yamaha used nicer blinkers on the Vino vs the Vino 125. Has anyone installed these yet? Is it difficult?

Read sorrow's reply in this thread. Sounds like an easy switch, however I will have to save up some $$ for this part--kinda pricey--especially after I just bought a new scooter.

Sad news folks I have had to pull back from my gung-ho pace due to a minor engineering problem. For all of you who want to know, on the right side behind the turn signal spot on the fender there is a metal tab that... well doesn't look structural, but it may void the warranty if I go cutting on it to make the new winks fit. . For the record the rear turn signals from tng will fit with a little modification, the brake light however requires major modification (that pesky warranty) and is frankly not very bright at all so I will be opting for the stock brake light and the tng turns as soon as I can get a definitive answer on the warranty or when October rolls around. As for the front I am looking at some really cool front turn signals that look sort of like crab eyes.

Puddleduck who is in the membership did an amazing job with his modifications to the taillight. He used a circular taillight from a truck stop that is LED. It looks wicked. Puddleduck. Please post what you did. He also installed the winkers and it looks very clean.

OOps sorry Sorrow thought you were giving me grief, my bad. I would appreciate seeing those mods as well.

No problems. No worries. Puddleducks lights are very bright and have several large dots. He was able to do it so that the circle is the only thing you see. I am trying to convince him now to shave the tail a little bit as it will suit what he has done.

I've posted up some pics of what I did to the rear end of my Vino 125. It's in the Garage section.

The rear signal is from a Truck stop I frequent. It's LED and it's really bright. I added the Chrome trim, it looks good just black too.

The turn signals are just off the shelf sport ones. I'm looking to change the bulbs to LED as well, I hate the orange.

as for that little metal peice inside the right side...well, a hammer and a couple of blows took care of that. (I'm not under warrenty)
