Stock Throttle Cable on 19mm Carb

So, can the stock pull throttle cable be used with the 19mm Arreche carburetor or not? If it can be modified to work, what exactly do you have to do?

you have to grind the end of the cable to fit into the carb slide...

Once you do it, the cable can't be used with the stock carb again...

I'd buy a long bike brake cable... from say walmart for $5.00 and use that... works the same, and you can save the stock cables for future use....

This is a stock cable ground off to fit the 19mm carb....

ok, I ground the end down already but it didn't seem like the cable had enough length to allow the slide to close all the way. I guess it must if you are using it that way?
