Rubber Intake Boot and 19mm Carb

The stock rubber intake boot that feeds the reeds has a stop that doesn't allow the 19mm carb to push all the way in. Should I just leave it alone and tighten down the hose clamp or do I need to use a dremel and get rid of some rubber in the boot so the carb fits flush?

Thats as far as it needs to go. Just clamp it down and it will be fine.
