air box

Anyone have any suggestions on what can be subsituted for a lost scissor clip to hold the air box to the carb? I'm not sure if a hose clamp will be narrow enough.

Zip tie maybe? Also if you cant find a scissor clamp PM me because I have a few laying around in my garage from my projects.

Would that be something I might find at a home depot? I saw one on e bay for $1.50 but, not worth the shipping.

I would think an auto parts store would have something like that, or something that would work.

in addition to using a regular worn screw clamp... the ones that have a phillips screw and metal strap that is tightened...

it's not the same as stock but will hold it tight...

I'll figure something out. I got pretty lucky after my seize. I owe it to the scoot to get something secure on there. It's not so much finding a clamp but, I don't want to loose that rubber gromet type thing. That rubber peice was the cause of my seize when it fell off inside my airbox in the first place.
