Its pretty easy Joe, just peak under the fan side of your vino. Under there you should see a rubber cap, pull it off, and theres sparky! Check out this link for pics....http://vespamaintenance.com/vino/3000k/index.html

I am so angry at my father. He seriousy swore up and down it'd be on the top of the engine, so we took off as much panelling as we could and almort removed the seat compartment.

well technically it could be considered the "TOP" of the engine...

However the engine is mounted sideways... So...

Top is really the front of the scooter...

If it all makes since...
