Hi
I was wondering how loud the Tecnigas Next R Pipe is that comes with the Stage one package. I live in a gated community and people tend to get upset if its too loud. Esp if I get home late at night.
Thanks

Are you seriusley worried about your neighbors? Man if you worry about the exhaust on your scooter then I dont know what to say. Where do you live man

I have had no complaints from my neighbors except the kid next to my house... only because I was riding in the grass in front of my hour (a 4 plex) and was right outside his window and he was trying to sleep...
I doubt that anyone would be to pissy about it but it depends... are you allowed to run a chain saw in your community? If so then the scooter will not be any louder!
It's might be a hair louder than my Focus with a magnaflow cat back on it...
Unless you live in smallsville nowhere, I wouldn't worry about it...

Thanks for the replys. Its just that I get home late from my business sometimes and I live in a private gated community. (lots of rich and old folks live here) We can make noise but if I get home at 1 or 2 in the morning running down and waking them up they may start complaining to the board. Plus I leave for my shop at 4am. So we are talking early hours and late nights. Hope that makes sense. I guess things are different here in Hawaii. :) We call it the Aloha Spirt where we look out and take care of each other.

it isn't that load untill you put it with a 70cc kit if you want to hear it go to www.no links.com and go to videos and attion police video it shows a zuma with a exhaust that sounds just like the TNR tecnigas next racing and is doing 75mph holding a wheelie.
all ther videos are cool cheack it out

I ride by one of my troops house at night and he says he can hear the exhaust of my scooter in his house... So it all depends on how the people you live by will react to a little noise....

Ladies ladies, stop your bickering!!! We'er all buds here right!? Now Zuma88 does have a point, it ain't impossible for a zuma to do 75mph... heck, even 100mph is within reach with the right amount of mods.
BUT, back to the topic at hand... I personally think that the tecnigas pipe is rather loud, but worse yet, it sounds buzzy. Now if you are worried about your nieghbors, I wouldn't get the pipe. If I wasn't into scooters (like most people), it would annoy the hell outta me!
This is all in comparison the the stock setup by the way. Well, thats my opinion anyway.

i gotta agree.. it's pretty damn loud, and annoying, i would also say it's about the volume of a chainsaw and it's quite buzzy, i really don't like it, but i love riding over 50mph! so i'll take the trade...
