My 2005 Triton is hard to steer. Just wondering if a different front tire or brand of tire would help? Possibly narrower tire with less contact as the stock tire is fairly wide.

Make sure its not just a cable getting pinched between the triple tree and the body. Usually something simple like that will fix the steering.

No cables pinched. Front end just feels heavy. I wonder if this is typical of Tritons? I have a Zip with no problems but is a much lighter bike.

Yes the Triton definitly is a heavier feeling bike I know its tough to compare the two of them because they are such different bikes. You could get a better tire such as some Michelins or some Dunlops. New rubber is always good. :)

I haven't noticed the steering on my GT5 triton being heavy or hard. Of course all I have to compare it to is my Zuma. If it is real hard you might check the steering in the fork area for binds by jacking up to get front end off ground and playing with it.

No sticking or bearing noises. At 20mph and up there is no problem. Bike just doesnt feel balanced. Too much caster? Does this make sense? I think Im going to try a tire with a smaller footprint.
