Anyone else notice the 2" square flat space on the Vino rear fender that just looks like something belongs there? There's even a little black rubber bit plugging what looks like a screw hole. Nothing shows in any parts manuals, but my guess is a reflector was designed to be there but Yamaha never included it.

Just curious.

Some of the retro-style scooters have the cool JDM-style lights, and make use of that reflector area...

Haven't found any better pictures than that one, but I think the Asian scooters look similar to this US-sold clone.

What make/model scoot is that?I'd like to know, too. Also I like that top case--did it come with the scooter?

It was one of the no-name 'retro-scooters' that is being sold throughout the US. This one was from a place called Boss Powersports - the links to the retro scooters have been removed from their site, so it appears they no longer sell them.

I'm not sure who actually assembles the scooters, nor where they do, but typing 'retro scooter 50cc' in Google brings up quite a few results, a lot that look exactly like the Vino.

I don't have any more info about it, just the picture - sorry I can't help more.
