For this winter I want to modified my 2004 Yamaha Vino scooter to stage 1. Does anyone in the Northern VA or near are going to do the same thing? I am not mechanical incline, but if somebody is going to do their, I can follow directions :). I am not in a hurry for it, first I need to know which parts I need to order and where to order them. Anyone please let me know and thanks.
Be safe.

still sad there are so many thousands of miles between me and all the other scooter guys on here!
I could bust out the stage 2 install for Mark in about 2 hours or so... but the trip there would take longer than it would be worth it for me anyway...
I think I'm gonna catch a flight to washinton state some time this winter with my 2 boys... Not that I've heard anyone on here being from there but... You never know...

Anyway....
Yes... 2 hours or less... when the "book" says that a cylinder install can take 2 hours... um... not back for:
Variator, clutch springs, torque spring, cylinder, carb, pipe...
Hrm.... The longest part is the carb and making a cable that fits...
But, you know if someone wants to run a timed install.... LEts go baby! I'll jump at that challenge!
Played with mine enought I can do it half asleep!

Two hours is a pretty quick time for a staging upgrade.

get a full race set-up, because once you get a lil bit of power then you are goin to want more so get the fastest parts from the start.
