Jeeeez!
I keep noticing how trucks and SUV's like to ride my Zuma's ass!
It makes me feel a little nervous at times...
I'm a surfer up here in Oregon and it hits a little too close to home.
The grills on these new trucks/SUV's look like the baleen of a whale, or worse yet shark like! Are they gonna hit me????? Run over me and pulverize me like a 20 foot great white I saw back in 1986?
Anyways, I can't help but wonder if there will be a time when one of these rednecks won't see my brake lights...
So I decided to add something.
On the back of my '04 Zuma, it has 2 open lighting chambers on both sides of the brake/running light. (the middle red lens) I assume that in other countries they use these for turn signals.?.?.?
I went to the neighborhood auto parts and picked up 2 bulb sockets and 2 lights (size #1156? I can't remember now...).
I installed these in the empty light chambers and connected them to the wire running to my rear brake light. (the green one with a yellow stripe)
The first time I tested it, I had my wife watching from our diningroom.
The whole room lit up as if it was Hell! My wife was completely red- looking like Satan! Maybe it's just because I still jam to old school Metal!
But it kicked ass!
If you feel the same way about these perverted gas guzzling thugs ridin your ass, I suggest you do it too!
