I have a 2001 Zuma. I absolutely love it although it would be nice to be able to go a little faster. I don't want to compromise the integrity of the engine or bike. I think the exhaust may be the way to go. Let me know what you guys think.

get a tecnigas racing 70 or 50, or a Leo'Vinci Sprint, im ordering the sprinter for www.50cc.nl
i would recommend a malossi 70cc kit, and malossi varaitor or MHR 2000 multi varaitor

Do you recommend the stuff on this site or do you just buy all your stuff in Europe?

get yourself the polini corsa cylinder and a polini 4race pipe if you want a street set up. just make sure that you match all your parts, if you got polini go polini 100%, if you go malossi go malossi 100%. lol, oh yeah leave that tecnigas stuff alone. by the way how fast do you want your bike to go anyways.

no polini
MALOSSI MHR will give you 18-20 horse power
i have a 22 horse power 2000 yamaha zuma has a Malossi MHR full race kit. Malossi MHR variator, Malossi MHR 19mm carb.
dose 0-55 in 6.9 secs and has a top speed of 68mph

send me the malossi link where it says 22 h.p. for the upright minarelli motor. the cross, speed, and team are the most powerfull malossi cylinder kits and those are for the flat motors. i have a malossi race cylinder and it doesnt make 22h.p. the best cylinder out for the older zumas is the polini evolution and they claim 18h.p. from that.

get your polini kit tested on the dyno jet.
i have found polini's best kit only puts out around 10 or 12 horse power.
i do like polini's kelver belt and 2g clutch better then malossi(s)

they clam that no more the Malossi MHR 47.6mm full race kit is now the best.
the polini kit is a single ring, for the pre 2002 wtich means not as much high end power. that is the case for the polini.
and also i do recommend stuff off this site just the real good malossi and polini kit's they dont have at this time,
i recommend ther tecnigas next racing (TNR) and ther carb is nice to, if i didn't get a kit that had all Malossi MHR things i would have order the Carb form here and the cylinder kit.
but i thought if i was going to modify it i was going to go big :D
the thing i get is a wheel scoot that will wheelie from 0-20 and for 30-60mph.
i need to get my new coil but on it it is screwed up for some reason from 20-30mph it bog's out really bad and then it will lift the fornt end up it's self

Zuma you have to look at the polini evo that has the butterfly ports, not the w exhaust port. the w port makes low power but the butterfly port cylinder is the one that makes 18h.p. show me a mhr for the up right zuma motor that makes 22h.p and i will buy it. i know my mhr race cylinder dont make that. i got the single ring butterfly port 47mm kit and i know the polini one is better. send me the info you found on the mhr, maybe you found something new that i havent seen yet. Zuma you should check out some of the euro sites and see wassup with these bikes and what you can expect from the race parts.

the MHR you have maybe the replica wtich dont put out anything, also im sure i mention but may not have i had had open up the exhuast port 4mm up and 2mm down. and polished all of them.

nope, i dont have the replica, i wouldnt buy the street kit. i have the mhr with the butterfly ports, not the case iron one with the round open exhaust port. my cylinder is 47mm. that was the only one i could find, if you got a 48mm mhr with butterfly exhaust (bidged port), i would like to see the link with the specs so i can order one too. how do you plan on settin up that kit and what parts are you going to use on your bike. you say polini dont have that good to top end, my friends jog hit 88mph on flat ground, thats plenny top end.

jered click on that link and see what it says about what parts are needed to the older style zuma. if you dont think that a bike cannot go over 80mph then i dont know what esle to tell you. i know that you have all mix match parts on your bike right. you have a good motor that can go 80 plus you just need the right parts. did you ever see that link i put on this forum with that black euro bw (zuma). that guy was goin 125k's and doin wheelies. there was another guy on there goin 130k's on an aprilia. both of those bikes have the same engine you got. the diff is the set up. you have airsal with other brand parts, they have 100%mhr team parts. my friend that went 88 with his jog clone bike has 100% polini evo parts. the honda strokers that we ride also can hit 95mph no problem. jered talk to the guys at provo they will tell you the same thing i am telling you. they even use malossi mhr race parts for there race stage kit. JERED IF YOU EVER MAKE IT OUT TO HAWAII LOOK ME UP, I WILL SET UP A SPECIAL MOPED CRUZZ AND LET YOU RIDE ANY ONE OF MY BIKE BIKES, STROKER OR 70CC. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE LOOK IN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU HIT THE SPEEDS YOU DONT THINK THESE BIKES CANNOT HIT.
Zuma fabrizi makes a stroker kit for the older zumas. its a 90cc kit that comes with a pipe, cylinder, crank and someother parts. the problem is that it cost like 1100 to 1400 dollars. i'll just stick with my mhr or polini evo.

here is the link, look for yamaha BW or BOOSTER to match up with the zumas. with that kit a zuma will have no problem goin 80+mph.
