Just wondering how many miles all of you put on your scooter... I got mine in July 04 and have 1162 miles on it so far!
Just thought I'd see how much everyone rides! I take mine all over town! Mostly the back roads as the highway get above 55 most of the way...

2004 Zuma with little over 400 miles in 4ish months...
Once I get it staged up that will go up 4 fold I am sure.
Plus the ggrrrrr rain the last 2-3 months has been awful- Maryland gets the leftover hurricanes Lennox sends up to us.

I just got mine in August and I can't ride at night because I still have a learner's endorsement so I'm only up to about 300 miles.

I have my 2004 Vino for the past month and I am sad to report that I only have 150 miles on the speedo. But I am starting to take the scooter to work (City of Alexandria, VA), and I wil begin riding it it at least 10 miles per day at lunch time. I wish I can ride the scooter from my home in Fairfax to the City of Alexandria. There is to many crazies in Northern Virginia.
Last week I had a man in a cadillac attempting to push me in the curb. The funny thing was that a cop was parked in the side of the road with his radar gun. And yes, the cadillac was stopped and gave him a citation for reckless driving and speeding. He was going over 50 in a 35 mile zone. How sad for the guy, NOT!! Another thing gains the man was that I am a reserve police officer for the same county. :)

My 04 Vino I've had about a year has 4252 miles on the odometer, but for about three months or so, it wasn't connected, so I'm missing those three month on the count.

2006 Vino 125...8,800 miles. Same belt, Same Front Tire. Cords showed on the Rear Tire so bad it leaked. Put a new one on yesterday. Lost first muffler, but the bolt heads are now cross-drilled and safety wired. Once a year I change the Oil Filter, Air Filter, spark plug and clean the filter on the transmission housing. Remove the three screws in the black plastic cover and remove it. While the rear wheel was off, I checked the brake shoes and they still had the same thickness as a new set I bought. Here's another good tip. Take a spray can of carburator cleaner (cheap stuff) and spray off the engine and whatever, at the same time using an air gun to blow it off.
If it's a good day, the car stays in the garage. It's 22 miles a day to and from work 55 mph. 50% after dark. Also replace your phillips head screws with either metric hex head or socket heads. You can get them at the hardware, Lowes or Menards.
I also bought a Kymco Agility 50 the first of March. Changed oil today for the first time 515 miles. Oil ? Royal Purple 10W-30 $7.29 a quart.

My 2002 prebug Zuma had about 8300km/5200 miles when I bought it late 2005. I now have 11800km/7300 miles. Everything is still stock and I think most of it still original. There's a Raggae tire on the front, so that has likely been replaced. I'm not sure about the rear tire though as it's the same brand as what was originally put on it.

2007 Vino 125, bought mothers day 07. I just passed 4300 miles without any problems. I have started driving 25 miles each way to and from work, figure it saves me about 200-300 a month in gas over driving the Titan. I have changed the oil a couple of times and will be doing the transmission fluid change and new spark plug this weekend.
That brings up a question.... Whats the best plug to put in my scoot?

Bought my Vino 125 7/10/08, have 1500 miles on it. I ride it nearly everyday for comuting to work, about 40 miles each way.
I have two other cars one with 325 bhp and the other has 600+ bhp and I am having more fun with the Vino and not stressing on gas milage now.
I perchused a 14 gallon gas can (on wheels) has a pump nosal so I can fill up the Vino in the gerage every morning. I have only seen the gas staion twice since having it.

Bought an '04 BW from original owner, stock but seriously maintained and shop records of accumulated mileage of 7200 kms when he sold it to me for $1000. I've since put that odometer to 31,654kms (NOT a typo either) and it IS all mechanically original. I've been through enough tires and brakes though. Secret to keeping exhaust in good shape? Gets painted with high heat paint twice a year and flushed with oven cleaner, wrapped when it's really damp outside and not being used. Yamaha shop says you can get over 60,000 kms if you know what you're doing and don't force the thing to put out more than intended when built. Yamaha makes the best there is for 49...cc motors, period! I know of one guy who's nearing 100,000 with only one re-build done.

O.K. I bought my wife a 2002 in 03 it has 6120. I bought an 2006 in 06 it has 6009 miles. We just bought a 2003 used it has 1588 on it. But plan to ride the wheels off before winter. We also have a 2000 derbi predator it has 10532. But the brakes have quit working having to wait for parts to rebuild cylinder. Also have a 2001 or 02 derbi senda dual sport bad to the bone if i must say it has 690 miles. Man I love scooters.

My odometer just turned over 12,000km (7456 miles) earlier today(yesterday?). I average about 1300-1400 km per season (May-Sept) and don't ride it every day.

This thread is 3 1/2 yrs old. If it is going to continue to pop up, perhaps we need a new poll for members to update their mileage.
