So, for all you guys who are into tuning! Here is a serious question for you!

Okay, So now that myself and Lennox, not sure who else have CDi's that eliminate the rev limiter... What is a safe RPM that the scooter shouldn't go above?

If I remember correctly the stock set up it was supposed to stop at something between 7 and 9000 rpm's? Not 100% on the exact as I've heard so many different numbers...

Anyway, I have a stock crankshaft, but moderately modified everything else... Is there a point where it becomes "seriously dangerous" to my engine if the RPM's reach it?

Anyone have thoughts as to what the top RPM's should be?

I so need to get a tachometer and install it soon... Lennox posted a link to tiny tach's and I think that might be the one I get... I like that they are so small and can be easily mounted in the scooter...

The only thing I do know is that the crank and rod will be the weak links and they won't support a dramatic increase in RPM, My 2 cents
I hope someone does know what the revs can be, I looked at Tafts website and they have some preliminary numbers.
