Syage 1 acceleration

Ok guys, it's kinda wierd but when I first ride my stage 1 vino it hauls ass from 1mph all the way to 50mph!!! But after about 5 min. or so, I only get major accerlation from 30mph to 40mph. Why do you think she runs so great cold? :confused:

I would take a look at the variator and make sure everything in there is as it should be. What belt are you using? Did you install the large torque driver spring?

I heard mixed reviews about the kevlar belt so I just decided to use the stock belt. I did install the torque driver spring and even put the largest shim in too. But I havn't re-jetted and am still using the stock jet, do you think thats the problem?

It accelerates better cold because the cold start is kicking in and giving it a punch. After that you are back to normal...
