<g> Was that title cryptic enough? Here's the thing. I'm soon to be receiving a Kevlar belt. Since I have to take my scooter apart to some degree anyway, it occurs to me that there may be other things in the general vicinity which I should be looking for/replacing/tweaking while I have it opened up. Anything jump to mind from you experienced folks? I figure I should check for the gas restrictor. What about replacing the tires? Switching the variator?

upgrading the variator is a good idea.. as the stock one wears poorly... probably have ruts in it...
If your scooter is stock and you wish it to remain mostly stock then there is no real issue to worry about unless something is worn...
If it's worn then replace it... Tires still got a decent amount of tread... leave them as is.. once again why fix it if you don't need to... Ya know!
However if you wish for more power and want to mod it... By all means, don't just replace the variator, at minimun get the stage 1 kit...
But that's all a matter of personal preference...
