I've been surfinig around to various sites looking at the Zuma and BWS. Question: Is the Bugeye look only in North America?, 'Cause all over the European sites I see a pre-bug look that goes as well for Canadian sites. Can someone please explain?

The Bugeyed Zuma only is here in the US and Canada. Yamaha decided to throw their extra parts onto it. Most people around the world use the prebug to modify as it is lighter and there readily available.

can provoscooter order 70cc kits that will fit my 2005 bws other than the t-6? i want to upgrade my scooter, but everything i find on euro sites, or when i look on canadian sites, every1 refers to the prebug and it pisses me off _-_-_- .can provo, for example, order me a complete mk sp racing kit? ;wink)

I know that Erich dealt with Metrakit for a while so he might be able get you some MK parts. As for the other kits other than Airsal Provo did sell Malossi cast iron cylinders for a while. Havent checked the site latley so I couldnt say for sure if he still has them up or not. Check out the "Zuma" section on the main sales page, www.provoscooter.com , and see if the parts are there, if not email Erich at questions@provoscooter.com.

You should just buy from a euro site then. With all the parts you need to run a midrace setup the shipping costs are easily justified. Does MK even sell an AC SP2? If not going LC is a lot of work.

The MK SP2 comes in both AC and LC.

usa, canada, and asia got the bug eye and europe kept the solid looking prebug and just updated it a lil for the newer years.

sometime i wish i had the prebug...

just a quick question.

does the zuma 2 and the bws next generation refer to the n. american/asian bug eye?

also, whats the difference between the sp and the sp2?

Dont know about the first question. As for the difference between the sp and sp2, the SP2 is just a newer version of the MK series. The SP2 costs about the same (a tad more) but it supposedly puts out more HP and power than the older SP.

does any yamaha scooter have the same part #'s as the bugeye? is the 2002-5 bws/zuma the only yamaha with a horizontal minarelli motor?

also, does the vento or the derbi have the same style motor as the bugeye?

_-_-_-

Vino's have the same motor... but the tranny is different... the case is a couple inches longer on the zuma then the vino...

also the Jog Z parts are usually compatable...

what are you trying to do?

The Vento Triton parts are compatable with the newer Zuma. The gears, manifold, and cases are the same. Every tranny part and engine part though are different.

yeah, most of the new yamahas all use Hmin. motors. I think yamaha is a codeisgner of that motor as well.

Has anyone done any serious Bod mods to their Zuma? Like fiberglass fabrication or cut and jerry-rig larger motercycle body parts to their scooter? If so, got any pics?

u cant really do much body mods to a zuma like u can to an aerox. their are companies like mtkt, tnt, bcd, keisler(sp?) and others that make body mods and stuff. not sure u can make it fit a 05zuma, but u can always try.
im going to b changing my headlights pretty soon. im going to b ordering a pair of aftermarket aerox headlights and with some help from starboy, im going to make them fit on my 05 zuma.
im sure u can get anything to fit, its whether or not u have the skills and the tools to do it

....has any1 tried emailing erich lately? i sent an email about 2 weeks ago and still no reply. should i send another or just wait?
