my scoot comes with an extended tip plug br8hsa and the ones sold in the provo store br#hs are not the same now what if any differance would it make running a shorter plug ? im wondering if the plug not being extended could cause ant loss in performance due to maybe less flame travel or incompleate combustion ?
hey im scratching my head on this on guys!!!!!
help!

I tried to find the 9 temp extended plug when I upgraded...

I had shucks here in town call NKG, and they said that the plug that was shipped with the 70cc kit is not in production (was ended like 4 years ago)...

The guy from NKG told the shucks dealer that the plug that Provo sells is an acceptable alternative plug... However that was on a 70cc upgraded scooter... He said he recommends the stock plug on the original scooter... Which is lower compression and supposedly needs the extended out plug to fire properly...

You better Ask Jered!! when he logs on but if the wrong plug is installed

idahoscoot the spark from the PLUG is to Big and will BURN a HOLE in your PISTON HEAD!! that i know for shure dude!! some spark plugs have More Power !Remeber those Spark Plugs SPITFIRE that use to sell which never worked and MADE the Engine very HOT!! So hot idahoscoot that you could Cook a Egg on top of the HOOD!! Boy what a Rip off!! $$$

i tried to sell mines to Some dude who Pulled out His SplitFIRE Plugs at the same time !!HEHE but the SPLIT in the PLUG Generates a Lot Of HEAT!!

and Generates two Sparks -

Wrong Plug Wrong POWER!! MORE HEAT!!
Right Plug Right POWER!! LESS HEAT!! :)

did not think that a Bigger Spark would Dammage Piston and Chamber
if so!! i would reccomend you keep the same One in there if POSSIBLE!!

or MELT DOWN YOUR PISTON!!!

hope this helps!!

if you have a stock 50cc... then you need to run the stock plug... The 7 heat, long plug

if your running a 70cc kit, then you need the 9 heat plug and either the long or short plug will work...

HOWEVER, I spoke with NKG, the bpr9hs, is no longer in production... YOU CAN'T SPECIAL ORDER THEM... NKG, no longer makes them and will not special make... Maybe if you order 1000 of them....

So... the alternative is the one Erich sells... which is a shorter electrode... Don't run the bpr7hs with a 70cc airsal, your cause the piston to FRY!

You can learn from other experiance or learn for yourself... Doesn't matter to me....
