Mines going about 43 too. Not positive of the exact number cause we got kilometres/p/h up here and the speedometre only goes to 60 kmph but reach that and more ;)

I have an 04 classic as well with stock modification, I can hit 45 at times but generally avg 40ish at full throttle, I tend to only be able to keep it at around 32-35 on hills but it holds that speed well. I'm 6foot and weigh 220 so I'm pretty pleased thus far.

Yo man, with a stage 1 you'll do a good 50mph.

Have a pipe on the way from Provo, I'm goin to fool around with re-jetting the carb when i get the pipe on, I'm around 480ft above sea level here and thinking this will need to be done, a bigger jet that is.
This should increase the speed somewhat without going through with a full blown stage 1 mod. The springs and weights will not serve much of a purpose for me at my weight from the research I've done.
May end up goin stage 2 soon and replacing that stuff though. I'll let you know how it works out.
After the pipe and re-jet I'm goin to mess around with customizing the look a tad, Already have a red and black seat cover being fabricated. Pictures soon !
