cracked reservoir, bad starter @ 50 miles

finally decided to take the scooter to stubbs cycles in hou. called them today after 2 weeks, they said theyve replaced the reservoir, now they are waiting for the starter to come in. im assuming this is all covered under warranty since the bike only has 50 goddamn miles on it.

is this normal, did i get a lemon?

The cracked resovoir has been a big problem with Vento lately. The company that makes the tank drills the hole for the oil sensor too big therefore when you fill the oil tank up all the way it leaks all over.

The starter though shouldnt have gone bad. For warrenty the bike has to be under 6months old. And since it only has 50miles on it then I'm guessing it under that time restraint.
