My daughter"s scooter got some junk in the carb and we took it to the dealer. After cleaning the carb out, the scooter never did run right. however after the motor seized on it and after several discussions with the dealer, Vento sent a complete drive unit for replacement. I wondered what they factory found when the looked at the returned motor and low and behold the fuel jet had been burred by a screwdriver and caused it to run to lean. Just something to look for if your scooter runs for about 30 miles and then starts to cut out and won't idle. By the way she loves her scooter and she is the envy of her friends. This scooter gets about 34 miles put on it daily o_o

I hate to see this kind of thing happen. Another motor bites the dust because of an idiot "mechanic". I'm glad to hear that the motor seizing didn't cause any harm to your daughter. If a dealer dosen't know what he is doing or just doesn't care to pay attention to the detail necessary to service a carb then he shouldn't even try. He should have just order you a new carb from the company and replaced it if he wasn't going to repair your original carb like it was going on his own childs scooter.....
