Is it possible to convert my auto choke to a Manual choke?

If so any ideas how to do it, where to mount the pull cable?

With my sub 40 degree temps, I think my auto choke is turning on all the time and making the scooter run with the choke on all the time...

Unfortunately there was no option for the auto/manual choice when I ordered my parts...

Erich's super Vino has a manual choke on. I'm not sure how to hook it up but it can be done.

I emailed Erich, he's gotten back quickly on most other emails I've sent him... So hopefully I'll hear something in the morning... if not then on monday...

But I found one web site:

Arreche Manual Choke Kit
Code:800-058
Price:$24.99
Quantity in Basket: 1

Manual choke kit for 19mm and 24mm Arreche carbs.

Gonna wait till I hear from Erich, but this will allow me to keep it running below 40 degrees... I can get in and start riding but the darn thing keeps the choke on all the time! Then the scooter gets the plug wet and it won't stay running!

So... hopefully erich can get it, if not then I'll order it from the web site I found it on... If anyone else needs the manual choke instead, PM me and I'll send the link to you... that's after I hear from ERich... don't want to steal customers from him... ya know!

Erich does have manual chokes for the Arreche carbs... not sure what he sells them for...

Use the contact link on the provo main page...

I still have not hooked up the auto choke on my new carb...... Starts right up too. I guess Florida is warm enough not to need it.....

as in installing the wires? Or not even placed the choke onto the carb? Shouldn't run right without it on the carb...

No worries...
