Just wanted to say that w/ some good 5-10mph forward wind and moderate hills I was able to hit 60mph TWICE today on my way to college. :D

And last week I was able to hold 58mph for a long stretch on a low incline hill.
Still stock filter and jetting too. ;)

Just trying to spark up some conversation, not too many post lately. :ulp

Good up until my clutch broke. Now I'm deciding if I want to get a whole new clutch or wait for 2weeks to see if Koso will warrenty the parts.

maybe some diff clutch springs might make the stock one work for u.

I already have a set of 2.5k springs in the stocker but its just sooooo heavy that I can only rev up to about 3k and take off compared to my 5-6k with the Koso clutch.

Call Erich or log-in on the main sales page and check on the order status. I'm surprised that you havent gotten the parts yet. Erich is human and makes mistakes so he may have messed up on this one. I'm guessing as soon as you talk with Erich he'll get you fixed up.

well first he said i'd have to wait on the malossi multivar for a while, since i ordered in late july and he said he had just ordered the parts from europe, but then europe went on holiday in august and they didnt ship until sept... so he wrote me last week and said the variators are in, but another part is missing... but he hasnt told me what that is yet. so i dont know, i dont think its worth it anymore.

i think its worth, but that is a really long time to be waiting.. if he has the multivar ask him to atleast send u the stage1 part of it. :c:

yeah malossi and polini are notorious for disregarding the USA dealers, esp since there really isnt a distributer for polini and i think the only one for malossi just started this year in Texas

alright, i cancelled my order and im probably selling my scooter. its been fun, but i needed something that could go a little quicker, but it'd also be nice to commute between denver and ft collins and even with a stage 2/3, i dont know if that'd be plausible. so thats it, i got my zip for sale, and im out.

Well my exaust fell off my scooter which was interesting. The dealer ship fixed my spedometer (the backlight wasn't coming on) they also tuned the oil pump and i got it up to 52 :ll :yippy: but i still wanna mod it some but i haven't had the time yet or money.

But one thing i do want to do is change the horn. Since i like the dukes of hazzard horn from the General Lee i wanted to see if i could put that horn on the scooter. it just requires a 12V hook up. Do you guy's think it would draw too much power? and where might be a decient place to mount it since i don't know where the other horn is.

Polini really doesnt have an offical distributor but there are a couple of places in the US who are able to get most Polini parts. Its not always order and have them shipped but hey, its still getting them.

since this is just a random thread for the most part, I'll ask about someone who's MIA over here,

where's LunarLuna?? He got his stage1 installed same time as me and we helped each other out w/ tips and compared results. And now he just like dissapeared. Where's he been??

man you would think owning a 105mm clutch is a sin in this country, I can Not find a damn bell for that clutch i bought without ordering from germany (i want a polini bell) everyone has 107mms up the hobo (bum hehe) but no 105 stuff, i can wait till nearly November to get one from a guy in the states or i can order now from germany and hope to get it by DEC either way i wont be able to use it by the end of the season

Yea, I'd say 95% or performance clutches are a 107mm. I know you got a great deal on that 105 but for all the hassle and time wasted you could sell it and then buy a 107 w/ bell and have it all on in under a week.

On the way to college I always happen to pass up this green scooter going the other way. I'll let yall know what it is, next time I see it.

Well this time I turned the same way he did, and caught up with him at a stopsign. :race:

Even with a bunch of miles on my zip, I got a good size jump on him and just pulled, letting my tecnigas belt out the sound of a tuned 50. :D

I weaved by and gave him a thumbs up, twas a good race. o_o
