Hi fellas,

I am still waiting on my SP stuff to arrive, and was talking to the fella who sold me my GP1. He was suggesting I use white motorcycle glue when reassembling my case... something I had not thought of. So, I was wondering if anyone else had suggestions or tips for when i do finally get all this stuff, and start putting it together.

are you splitting the case?

if it's just the tranny cover, then no glue or anything is needed as you will open it a couple times getting the rollers and such all perfect.

Yea, he posted earlier that he was doing a full crank, cylinder, the usual suspects.

When I re-did my motor..I got the stock improved Gaskets (kinda Grey lead/Graphite looking)..and used no Case Glue..(Lennox would agree..gasket is enough)...No Leaks except very tiny Head gasket oil mist..and that Gasket is different from the others. I used loctite also. Assembly is easier than dis-assembly......Oh..don't order the Trans cover gasket...don't need it..its Dry in there..
