Does anybody know how to adjust the throttle cable on a 2003 Zuma? I have taken up as much cable slack as I can with the adjustment nut near the throttle grip (the nut is all the way out). I am guessing that I need to get to the carb and maybe there will be an adjustment nut there as well.
I just cant stand there being to much paly in any of my controlls!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

sorry it took so long for a reply... I must have missed this post...
First question is your scooter still have a stock carb on it?
If so, double check to make sure that both cables are installed and not broken! I say this as the stock carb has a push/pull 2 cable set up and can't see how there could be much slack in the throttle cables...
If both cables are intact... and you've tightned the 2 adjustment nuts on the 2 cables... Then... you might end up having to get 2 new cables... Sounds strange but maybe they are damaged and stretched out somehow? Donno...
here is a picture of the "parts catalog" info on the cables... I don't remember seeing adjustments on the carb side on mine when I chopped them to pieces... as well as can't see that in the picture either...
Sorry I don't have better info to help you out...

My Zuma is 100% stock. I will check for the things you mentioned.
I really appreciate the help?
