cheap cdi unit for 01 or older zuma

if anyone is in need of a cdi unit for a 2001 or older, let me know...

i paid $5.00 for it... that plus shipping and it's yours if you need it... i'll stick it away incase anyone ever does come up with the need...

btw this doesn't work on the 02 and newer

it's a yamaha stock unit...

I bought it by mistake on eBay thinking it was not for the 01 and below...

It was a good price and I failed to read the whole listing... oops!

You know.. I've read that in order to de-restrict the CDI on my Zuma (2001), I need to cut the red wire going into the CDI.. do you see a red wire on that CDI unit? if not, any guesses on which one would need to be cut/disconnected in order to derestrict it?

Holy cow... thread from the dead. I forgot I had a scooter! I actually haven't ridden that thing in a couple years... still sitting on the side of the house, covered in spiderwebs... :(
