jets ?

does any one know were to get bigger jets for the vento carb?
the brand is LEADER and its a funky looking jet ive looked all over the net in search of this with no luck i have an asortment of small drill bits matching mkuni specs sizes 90-115 but would like the real thing !! :cool:
my girl thinks she is going to beat my zip with hers ha ha ha ha :D

post a picture of them... so we can see what they look like... I'm sure they are easier to find then you think... but hard to know how to search for it...

most of the time the carb name is something goofy to screw with you... and then the jets are the same as a name brand carb...

If you need bigger jets go on down to your dealer where you got the scooter from. If not go to any motorcycle shop, they will usually have them. I am pretty sure that there are two main sizes of jets 5mm and 6mm I think that a stock Vento carb uses a 6mm jet.

Strange, all the Vento I have seen use a Mikuni carb. Is yours a Triton or Zip or is it one of the Phantoms?

The Phantoms has Corundum Carbs in them

Never even could find Any website for the Strange Carb

so can anybody answer me, someone said you can get the jets from a yamaha dealer well what jets am i looking for a size would be nice, what is the stock jet size, little help?

Stock jet size is a 70. What are you trying to jet it for? 70,pipe,climate??

climate and my K&N i put on, im just worried about running too lean,

and i seem to be loosing a bit of top end, and torque after i put the K&N on so i think i might be running too lean (btw the idle went up by itself so im thinking the idle jet is a bit lean, im gonna try and tune it just right this weekend)

ok i had to take the filter off and put the stock one back on, im running so lean that it started to cut out at WOT, so what Yamaha could i use the jet from? i went to my yammy dealer and they only had one jet on hand and they told me if it was the wrong one i couldnt take it back btw it was an 85 for a zuma with a funky asian name carb
