I have a 2004 Vino, and I live near the ocean in Richmond BC. I'm a bit worried about corrosion of the bike, including the exhaust/ tail pipe.

I'm thinking about painting the pipe - any recommendations? something available in Canada?

yep, BBQ paint works wonders.
You can get at any hardware store.

We use that on oil (kerosene) stoves, amazing stuff!

Never thought of that. I need something for my chrome pipe to keep it from rusting.

If the part was properly chromed, it shouldnt rust for a long long time. Chrome itself is a rust protectant....

the vino exhaust (stock) that came with my 2004 Classic is black. I gave it a coat the other day, and I'm hoping that will get me through the winter.
