Hi everyone,
I'm looking for information from anyone that already has installed this kit. I live at 900 above sea level in good 'ol Indiana and was wondering if the jet that comes with the kit is sufficient and is the stock clip setting for the needle okay?
Also, what did you gap your spark plug at? I will do a plug chop when it is all together but was hoping to get a head start on the tune-up.
Let me know, Thanks for your input

I have about 500 miles on mine and still working on the tune... I just lowed the needle down (onto the top clip) and it's running better and hope it's finally going to be "chocobrown" through all ranges... I have been running rich at the 1/4-1/2 and a hair on the lean on the idle... Got the idle corrected and the the top end is good... Oh yeah I'm at sea level
I think you should leave the needle as is and very slowly ride the scooter all the way from idle to wot (VERY SLOWLY ROLL THE THROTTLE) if there are dead spots from 1/4 to 1/2 or it boggs at all then adjust the needle...
Remember the idle speed screw is the one you can sping with your fingers (has grips and stick out of the carb) the mixure screw is the recessed one... and you need a small screw driver for it. Also the mixture screw, in is leaner and out is richer...

Thanks, This is a big help
I have a 2002 zuma just modified with stage two. Kit from company called tsl. Bike runs well but is way too loud for this old man. Are there any quieter performance pipes available?
