Why do you guys choose to be "invisible"?

I notice there are quite a few guys on here who choose to be "invisible", just wondering what the reasons were for doing that.

I know of a 2 mods that do it and as I was on today the main page at the bottom said there were 4 members and 1 guest online... Me being the only one who was signed in...

So there were 3 "invisibles" on...

It's a mod only function. any case, I mod on three other boards so I run multi-sessions of explorer, any case, once I load Provo's main page, it could stay up for hours without me being actually on or looking at the site. Because of this, I may show an online status for like 20 straight hours, so I don't wanna look like some dark overlord watching over his evil domain. LOL.
