I wanted to know if anybody knows a lot about the stage 2 kit for the Vino. I've been thinking about buying one but I want to know how much faster it will be (I already have the stage one, it does about 50 mph on flat ground). How much more tourqe will it have, how reliable will it be, what kind of gas mileage will it get, ect. ect. Thanks for any help, it's appreciated.

Even though James B has only a stage I kit, I think he has some time with Ericj with the stage II's. He might be able to answer that!

I have actually no expierence with the stage2 kits, but I'll share what I've read here on the boards over the past few months.

I've heard that the stage2 provides a lot better torque and acceleration from a number of people, as for exact figuers I have no clue. One dude has told me that accedental wheelie popping has accured. Reliability, thats a toughy. You always risk the reliability factor whenever someone pushes their engines a lil more than planned by the designers. It also is greatly influenced by the installation and up-keep. I've heard many fine-tuning issues, to big problems (burnt pistons), to absolutely no problems for 5,000 miles! I once asked a guy what his mpg average was, and he said about 65mpg. It should go ~55mph, thats what Erich states at least.

Well, thats what I've come up with. Some things may be over exaggerated by people, but his is what I've been told. I plan on doin the upgrade myself in a few months, until then this is all I got. Hope it helps!

When I did ride Erich's old one it did have a lot more torch and you can do wheelies super easy I did one in a Arbys drive through. :D It is also super fast. When I went with a couple of guys up Provo canyon one on a new Stella and the other on a P200 I had no problem keeping up even on the hills. It made the guy on the Stella mad enough he went and got the bigger piston on his Stella.
