I got these rainbows today!

WOW! In an unstocked lake here in anchorage!

the limit is one over 20" and 2 in possesion total...

went with my boys... so well within legal...

Nice Jered...My guess on the # is 7 and 9 pounds...I miss eating Rainbow Trout..if I remember ...when we caught them in the Great Lakes...they were refered to as SteelHead..and were always at 10-12 pounds...tackle...a few bucks...Son experience...Priceless. :ll ...................John

steelhead is a trout family member but is a specific fish, and different then a rainbow...

however steelhead are a BEAST and put up an awesome fight...

I love how "jittery" trout are and how they "fly" when hooked... These had my tough trout rod, tip in the water! and was an absolute blast!

I plan on hitting it up a couple more times in the next few weeks... I didn't weigh them as I don't have a scale... however they were so fun to catch...
