Miles - Life Expectancy

I know with proper care and maintance and so on it will last forever...

I am looking for how many miles do you think this thing is good for?

Most cars get 120K or so I would guess before it gets to the point where it is better to buy a new one than it is to nickel and dime the old one to keep it going.

Like the new sig Mark. I understand the motor life is 8000. But....... I've seen a Vino in the shop with more than that.

I'd sure like to see 120k out of the 50cc motor, I mean to think what those motors cost in compression to mileage, that's a deal. BTW: Mark, I modified the title of this thread slightly.

It is not that I am scared to get my hands dirty- just for prior "getting hands dirty" events I will:

1. End up without my scoot for a significent amount of time

2. Will end up paying twice as much to get it where I want it to be- one to fix it back to where it was before I touched it and once again to get it to where I was trying to get it before I touched it.

me and wrenches= trouble... HAHAH

At least in my old age I have taught myself NOT to even try these things anymore.

However some people aren't as mechanically inclined as I am and that seams weird to me... but for them I huess it seams weird for someone to do it on their own... :cool:

Oh G-d, I was horrible as a mech at YMC. I understood everytyhing well enough, but my hand eye coordination has gone to hell over the years. Now lighthouses, there's something I can work on! :D

My zuma has 7470 miles and thats when I rebuilt mt top end. It was always running on fully synthetic oil. Zuma has an really good engine that you just need gas and oil and it will run for ever.
