So..I'm cruising home from work yesterday on my three day old Zuma and...I had a bit of a crash! I was slowing to stop in a left turning lane - the light was green and I had time to make the turn but there was alot of traffic and I didn't want to rush the turn. I'm a fairly inexperienced rider. Anyway, as soon as I touched my brakes, this ******* behind me leans on his horn. Like an idiot, I responded to his pressure and let off the break and headed into the turn...and wiped out just like I thought I might! Damn! Nothing too serious I sprained my leg and there are a few minor scratches on my scooter but...it totally sucked. Ah well, I guess I need to get a little more experience before driving in heavy traffic...

Most of the time when cars are coming up on us we will get over but every now and then there is that ***** that thinks his life is so rushed and so on he needs to get right on my bumper- that means no getting over for that dude. I have even had a cop turn on his lights in the next lane over for someone following me too close.

You know in most states the car that blew the horn on you could be found at fault for the accident. Most states have laws on the books against rider intimidation. I'd've taken his plate down and called the PD and filed an aggressive driver report.

...It's difficult to develop a thick skin (or a deaf ear) to react to people like that.... I hope your bruises heal quickly and that you're back at it soon...
