Alrighty, I keep seeing this sign in the scooter mags I read. It's a like this red, white, and blue target sign thing. Anyways, what is it? What does it stand for?

Oh, the mod target? Wow, a scooterist that needs educated to our mod forefathers. OMG, I must have a dozen mod shirts and at least a few Paul Weller CD's. Um, ok, wow, I can do an entire article about the foundation of scootering culture. Ok, in the 60's a group calling themselves modernists formed in the UK, they rode Vespas and Lambrettas. They wore only the finest Italian suits and listened to R&B. Mods represented the ultra-chic revolution of the times. Many mods went broke, trying to keep up with the fashions. What was popular to wear today would be out of date and ridiculed tomorrow. Later the mod movement fragmented in to different genres such as ska, punk, skinheads, scooter boys, northern soulies, and etc leading us up to today where we're called scooterists. The mods were to the Britts what the hippies were to Americans, but only differant. Think Austin Powers and his swinging 60's style. That was mod to an extreme.
