I looked and looked to see if there was a way to upload a custom avitar... Can't figure it out...

Any words of advice?

Other than that... This place rocks now... Only need a little more traffic... I posted on the yahoo zuma group to see if anyone would cross over as this is a much better forum set up that even the yahoo one... We'll see..

Yeah, I encountered this too trying to get Mark a silver zuma avatar. It would figure that when I emailed Eriich the avatars that I made yesterday that I did not include a silver one. Mark has a silver Zuma, go figure, what are the chances?

There's one of two things that it could be. Since I couldn't upload it for him from the mod panel, and got an error saying the image size can no exceed -1 by -1 which leads me to think that either custom avatar uploading is offline or that you must have a minimum number of posts to be able to upload a custom avatar. I've been on several boards that require you to have posted x number of messages before you can have a custom title or avatar. I'm not sure how Erich has this set up, but I had made note of it. I plan to make a second batch of avatars. Try to keep in mind that I think user upload avatars are set not to excede 80x80. Hmmm.... didn't seem to matter. But like I said earlier, this site is still a work in progress.

I posted a link to the new forums on the yahoo yamaha scooter group and the Yamaha Vino125 group as well.

pis are not an issue... however i couldn't get an avitar to upload here...

it might be a minimum posting limit before you can change them... however that's kinda odd...

jered, that's actually a pretty common setting to enable a minimum number of posts. Custom avatars is often a reward on boards for contributing to the community. But this may just be a case of something that Erich has not gotten to yet. There's still a lot of work to do yet.

So what is the minimum number of posts before you can post a custom avatar?

Assuming Erich has it set up that. I saw nothing to that effect anywhere in the mod panels, but then again, this could be a setting in the admin panels which I would not be able to see.

Personally, there are some thirty avatars already here for members to select that are scooter related. I was pretty thorough in making sure there was pretty much an avatar for most of the model scooters we have here, but I plan to make a second batch sometime to email Erich for install later on.

Won't let me/not sure how to get my avitar on here.

Let's me pick from the 31 images already uploaded but won't let me upload my own.

Red Zumas seem rare, so I would love for that to be my avitar! :D

Yeah I created the red and blue Zuma avatars, but didn't think anyone had a silver one so I didn't bother with it. What were the chances Marylandmark had one right?

I have enabled custom avatar uploads for registered users. Sorry I didn't do it before. Have fun!
