What are the tire choices for the Zuma? I'm looking for more of a "street oriented performance" tire w/ lots of surface area and few grooves. so far i can only find bridgestone ML50's in the OE sizes. How do you interpret tires that read 3.00-10 and 3.50-10 and would these fit a zuma? Thanks.

The Michelin's that we sell here are good street tires.

...This may well be an underappreciated and overlooked area for a relatively cheap way to boost the top end speed of a Zuma!

It's not like we're not being told (on Provo) that this will up the top speed...it has been written at the top of the tuning section...get new tires!

Here's a way to avoid all those hassles involved with putting in engine, exhaust, clutch, variator, etc. upgrades...

I'd be very interested in learning all the tire options that will fit a Zuma, along with the increase in circumference that, say, an Michelin S-1 will give over the stock Cheng Shin 130/90-10 (rear) and 120/90/10 (front). Are there larger sizes that could be fitted to the Zuma rims?

Anyone that might help with this info would do us all a great service...

maybe over the weekend I can swap rear rim/tire off my Zipr3 and try it on the Zuma?

If I find time, I will post both MPH and RPM changes.

It was interesting when on the old boards we use to always talk about how much faster the Vino (we use to be a Vino only board back in the day!) by upping tire sizes, so when I went from the stock tires to the Sava, we timed the difference with a Lydar gun that one of my cop buddies had. It was amazing to note that going up to the 3.5x10's only added 1.13 mph in speed from what my records shows. (I'm that anal to keep records like this :p )

...upon further research...the Zuma tires as supplied on my 2004 machine are the largest made in 10".... :(
