My son was riding his scooter when it up and quit running. The turn signals, brake light, tail light and horn all work and the motor cranks with no problem. However it won't start and I noticed the front lights don't come on when it's cranking. Should I start with checking the magneto??? Let me know what you think.
Thanks  :(

Not to be a smart ***** but is the on/off button turned to on? I have seen sooooooo many people unable to start scooters because of this.

Check if it has spark take the spark plug out lean it against the cylynder and crank it over see it there is a spark.

I've actually seen the fuel cut off switch fail, when no matter what the position is in the bike won't start because the switch was faulty.

Thanks to all that responded, I found out the headlight happen to be burnt out and the actual problem was a scored piston and siezed up rings. Not electrical after all.
Thanks

Hi it seized what year is the zuma? Get a big bore kit. DONT GET airsal kit!!!

I recommend Polini or Malossi
