My Mikuni 20mm is a great carb. The installation was perfect, no modification to or changing of the cables was neccesary. Now the only little thing it does is, if I go wot for a while and then let off and coast for a couple seconds, and gun it again, it will sputter a little bit like it has to take a gasp of air to catch up. I turned the richness screw out maybe a half or full turn, a little bit at a time and it seemed to take care of it at first, but its still doing it. Should I continue to richen the mixture, lean the mixture, up-jet, or down-jet?

You're not driving a Ford V8 with a 4-bbl Rochester. It's a small scooter with a big carb. You're gonna get some sputtering, coughing and burbling. Perfection isn't in the cards. If it runs good and the plug looks right, be happy.
