ok i think i got everything installed the way it was supposed to be. im assuming the fitting with three barbs is the fuel line and the other one with one barb is vaccum hose and smallest is oil line

but when i go and try to start my scoot the carb starts to leak fuel all over from one of the vent hoses and from the airfilter side

any ideas what is going on??

I'll have to take a look at mine again, but I think you have the oil and vacuum lines backwards.

I have the 19mm Arreche carb on my '04 Zuma, with the bog bore kit. Anyway, I snapped the throttle cable so I replaced it. Now the carb is just POURING fuel out of the vent tube. The motor won't start now either. It started leaking only when the motor was running, I swapped the oil/vent lines per aforementioned photo which seemed to correct the problem. Took it for a test drive. It ran great for about 10 seconds then stalled and would not re-start. The fuel was pouring out at that point.

Things I've checked so far:

Oil line & Vent line are connected per the photo earlier in this thread.

Removed bottom of carb and checked float, it moved freely.

This has never happened before. I ran this setup all season with NO problems.

HELP!

Make sure that the float bowl is all tightend down and alsocheck that big nut on the underside of the float bowl. Try looking at the carb and make sure its aligned like up and down so that its straight so the vents arent always opened.
