Just wanted to let you guys know I'm planning for my next project.... A metal vino! No more flimmsy plastic, but real metal panels and fenders. Of course it'll add some lbs. to the lil scoot, but I think stage3 should be able to acommidate the extra wieght. We'll see how it turns out :o

I was giving thought to this post for a while, and think, man, you better state that sucka up all the way, LOL, those metal bodied 50cc have a history of being slow, look at the Lambretta J-50 or the Vespa ET-2 (50cc)

Just polish or chrome it all. That would be so insane.

I was planning on it, but it was just an idea. I busted my transmission, gotta get that fixed before I start anything new. :(

San Jose, about 45min away from San Francisco. I have a few tools, but my buddies are the ones with the huge welders and stuff. Thought I'd just barrow it for a few days when the time comes.

Metal is cake dude, you just keep banging at it to put it in a nut shell haha. Welding gets tricky though, that I'll admit. Where in the Bay Area were you from james?
Yup, it would be pretty awsome! But I'm lookin at a lotta work haha!!! :D
