It's off to the dealer for touch-up paint...
This thing runs like a bandit.....!!! Feels like it's on rails @ 70mph...

almost as dumb as what my nieghbor did with his new cbr he forgot he had his steering locked and took off and laid it down in gravel.

On the Vento Zip there is a little device that holds the rear brake on for some unknown reason. I have never used it and don't think I will because I see no need. Maybe that is one reason I guess.

iv got a good one for ya my brother was going to do a burnout on my scoot next to my montero oh id say about 5ft away and well got the tire smoking and it caught traction and went flying into the wheel wel of my montero :angry: and we have the darwin award winner for the year needless to say my scoot needed some plastic but no worse for the ware but damn funny though

How was it even running with the steering locked? You have to turn the key on to start it which then unlocks the steering. I just dont see how thats possible. :confused:

some bikes have a separate lock cylinder for the steering lock. That must have been the case.

The steering wasn't locked.
I don't know if this would have made a difference, but the parking brake DOES make it stable with the kickstand down.
The brake is also good at stoplights in order to sneak a quick drink or whatever...taking both hands off the brake levers. With a bike this heavy, the feet need a little help on a grade to keep from rolling.
