Hey guys fist post so be gentle with !!!
I have a 2001 yamaha zuma i think so my first question is how do i tell for sure what year scooter it is? On my rego it says that it is a 2001, it was sold from the dealer as a 2003 run out model? where do i find this on the bike?
Also i want to get more speed out of it (doesnt everybody) as i seem to only get about 48kms per hour ou of it. I weigh around 78kgs (180lbs). i want to go about 70-75kms per hour.
Every bike shop i go to tells me something different. One tells me that the australian models are not restricted by the cdi unit one tells me they are. One another on tells me to upgrade the clutch and variator and one tells me to just change the pipe.
Guys please help!!!!!!!!!!!
I have about 600 bucks australian to spend and still use this as my daily transport. My terain is generally all flat (no real big hills).
Thanks for any help.
