I bought a scooter. I found a used 03 Bajaj Chetak for sale with less than 50 miles on it. The girl bought it about 4 months ago and doesn't like it. The price was right so after I rode it around the block I paid and it is mine! I'm so excited :D Word to the wise: be sure to turn the fuel valve to "on" otherwise this scooter will not run and you'll kicking yourself after countless attempts to kick start the engine. And I get paid to fix cars. :confused:

I've lurked here for a year, and finally bought a "real" scooter-- a 2002 Bajaj Chetak. Love the thing. Bought it from a guy in Peoria, IL for a great price...only has 1500 miles, and it's in perfect condition, except the oil plug got stripped a bit, and leaks a miniscule amount of oil-- it'll go in the shop next week to have that problem repaired.
