Erich carries though may be out of stock here. They made not be on the site so drop him an email at sales@provoscooter.com Most scooter shops sell the Sava when they are in stock, there's been trouble with the manufacture in recent months with the production schedule so they may be scarce.

Sava still hasnt secured a distribution agreement here in the US. They bailed on the last distribution company they were using. Not sure if they have straightened that out yet.

Also,

Sava and Bridgestone are the only 2 companies that make white wall scooter tires that will fit the Vino that I know of. The problem is finding the sizes for the vino. You can't go bigger than 3.00 X 10 on the front. Most places stock 3.50 x 10 and up. The 3.50 fits nicely on the rear.

The Bridgestones must be new last year only Sava and Continental made them, Continental discontinued production in the last quarter of 02, and had been shown on sites and stores for a year after. I had a major headache trying to get those, finally gave up and went with the Sava.

You can fit 3.5 rubbers on the front, King is living proof.

with spacers though right? I thought there was a catch to how he was running them?

Yup got the 3.5" up front but had to double space, at first there was a concern that the front brake may want to unravel but that has never happened. But... I encountered an issue that appears to be unique to me. Under hard braking my front like all motorcycles and scooters will dive down, for some reason inside fender under dive digs in to the top of the tire. I can only assume this is because of how the fender tapers. Regardless, after a week of riding, I easily modified my riding style, and brake a little sooner. I have done several tests where I went in to EBS, where I applied full braking at 40mph, with no problems. She stayed straight, and perfect so I see no issue with this.

I was apprehensive of having a tube type tire, sort of reminded mer too much of the tires used on a 14" boys Huffy bike that kids own when they are six, but I have to admit the Sava tires have been better than I expected. My only gripe is that they are a b!tch to clean. It is hard to get to the walls because of the forks, CVT and muffler. I find it easier to wash White walls on a motorcycle. Ok, I admit it, yeah I use to ride crotch rockets, but I love cruisers, and old-school Indians :) Guess that came with age,

I know King Vino is going to be mad but guess what I found hidden away at the lounge. A Continental 3X10 Whitewall!!!! :D It is only one so I will have to find something else for the other one. I have been been in the need of tires for such a long time the rear is almost a slick. I put that new shock on and it works great. It is a little taller but now I don't bottom out by sitting on it by myself. Now I just need a second tire and I will be ready for the bumps.

I am not very happy with scomo. They have products listed on there web site and they can't get them in stock. Example the 3.5X10 Continentals!! I am royally pissed that the do business that way. That got my hopes up and everything.

wow, they have a ton of whitewalls... well damn, i'll order some from them, though i'm not sure what size to get... the sava whitewalls on here are 3x10s right? though king vino said he's running 3.5x10s, with spacers and whatever... i understand none of that spacer talk, but i'd like to have the absolute safest tires i can get, since i ride in a lot of rain, and that means wider right? i'm not sure... can someone help me here?

actually you want a skinny tire in the rain... Less materials to cause a hydroplane....

For dry traction you want more tread... less in inclimate weather...

really? and what about the diameter? larger...smaller? what size would you suggest?

well, not sure what size are available for your scooter...

however... it's the same for snow and rain the smaller the amount of contact space... more weight per sq inch and the less possibility of you hydroplaining...

the more contact area a vehicle has the better for dry driving... however on ice, snow and rain it's opposite of that...
