Replacement mirrors?

Today I debadged and removed the rear view mirrors and rear rack. It looks a lot cleaner, but I think I need some sort of kicker mirrors. I've checked a few local places to no avail, where should I look next?

BTW, are mirrors needed for a TNG to be legal?

You must have a left mirror to operate any vehicle on the road under federal law. Many states if not most require a mirror as well on the right on motorcycles. Good luck finding mirrors, I looked for over a month for them for a Vino which uses an 8mm thread. Asian motorcycles are fitted with 10mm threads. I even went as far as to looking for an adapter or step down thread with no luck.

I was thinking about trying to find or fab rectangular mirrors to attach to the plastic body (front leg shield) on each sice for knee mirrors.
