Dungeons & Dragons Gamemaster

I believe the term is Dungeon Master when playing AD&D Yeh, Now that would be cool to be a paid professional GM. Personally anyone who could deal with FASA's targeting numbers would need to have a friggen' degree in mathematics (Damn Shadowrun) :p My old room mate, Squid, was a die hard gamers, now he just sits in him mom's house painting War Hammer minitures and collecting porn at anime cons.

It's not a "cockpit"

It's a "flight deck" lets be politically correct! LOL!

Aviatrixie
02-20-2005, 06:11 AM
Now boys... let's play nice! LOL

KV... that's my fav jet to fly of all... a MaDonald Douglas DC-9. It's fast, has a super quiet cockpit and hand flies like a fighter... which make sense since MD makes fighters for the military while Boeing makes bombers and tankers. I fly a Boeing now and it drives like a truck compared to the 9. That being said, the 9 was a harder jet to get consistently smooth landings out of. If I try I can consistantly grease the B-737 on but the 9... it kept me humble.

I used to fly the Airbus A-330 when I was doing intenational. It was huge and was fly by wire with a glass cockpit. Felt more like a computer game than a jet. But then, I'm old school. LOL

XPS1210

btw... I was joking... that's the "new politically correct" Air force talkin...

Aviatrixie
02-20-2005, 06:28 AM
LOL Yes... we're supposed to refer to it as the flight deck too... and do in formal discussion. But after 30 years I still call it a cockpit in informal conversation.

Which reminds me of an old joke... but we won't go there. ;)

im a technician for Appleway Toyota, here in the toilet of the northwest Spokane, WA. i love working on cars and only recently got into scooters, there arent many scoots around here, yamaha/honda are the only scooter dealers arround here and they mostly sell dirt bikes which are huge around here, lots of dumb kids on mini crotch rockets though. so many that if you do a search for scooter laws in spokane there are a bunch of recent news stories about minibike laws, its bad in the summer dumb 12 year olds crusing down busy roads falling over in the streets

but i digress

Sooznd,

Yeah, that's it. I have two. One will be for my daughter when she gets her learners motorcycle permit here in Ohio. Got them with less then 40 miles on them each.

Buyers liked them so much they traded up to highway capable scoots at another shop (Chinese scoots, i think)

Just love it to ride. Would like to get up to 50 or so to commute.

11 years as a teacher at a local high school and coaching tennis.

I was studying the 70's with my students and we were learning about mopeds and the gas crisis and how they were a viable option at the time. I then learned my neighbor had a honda express, 1978, for free. I went to his house got it and bought 2 more cause I thought they were so cool. Then I realized that I could not get out of tight situations and that they only went 27 on a good day. I then bought my lovely 2001 ZUMA! I love that thing and probably will never sell it.

Hey, that's how I got MY scooter!

A friend had to move and asked me to sell his 2006 Kymco People for me. (I was driving a 650cc motorcycle.)

Well, I took the scooter out a couple of times to keep her running good while I had her listed for sale and ended up selling the motorcycle and buying the scooter!

And I'm SO glad I did! It's a blast! (My summer goal is to drive her up to the top of Pike's Peak here in Colorado Springs and, yes, I'll take lots of photos at the top!)

Custom ukulele builder (retired engineering manager). An ukulele (that's properly pronounced OO-ku-le-le) is one of the few musical instruments you can actually safely transport on a scooter.
