Well I am hoping I can edit my vote one day..
Right now it is under 50 but HOPE to get 70CC one day!
My 49cc does great, especially on the gas mileage, but I too have thoughts
of maybe a 125cc scoot so I can keep up on the boulevards a little better.
Regards,
Indy

I'm still looking for that elusive 126cc scoot - not that the vino 125 ins't elusive enough...

I just got my 4 stroke Bajaj. My first scooter. I love it. It seems to be able to keep up with most traffic, I just have to ride super defensive because it's so quiet I feel invisible.

Yea I think thats somewhat confusing, since 70cc scoots start with 50 size when new.

I love my Bajaj as well. Does an excellent job of providing me with 145cc of grunt to keep up with and pass traffic in St. Louis. I added an aftermarket pipe that helps me be "seen"-- and gives it a bit more power, as well.
I do miss my old '71 Puch moped..that thing finally gave up and died last summer.

The reason there are more stock scooters, is because it is so difficult to have your parts in stock, and able to be shipped, it really is kinda a hassle, I know I am in the process of buying $515.00 in parts from a website that has a forum, however I was told majority of my order was out of stock...and not available for over a month...that kinda sucks.

Vino classic here. I live in a large metropolitan area but in a smaller town (34,000) so the 50cc suits my purposes just fine as I never leave town on it. 35-40 mph is all I need to get to anywhere in Town I want to go. These internet scooter forums are top heavy with the "I want to modify my scooter so I can go faster" crowd, but in my experience most scooter owners around here are satisfied staying stock.

I ride on a 50cc scooter size.If you have a long commute to work, there is no way getting around the fact that you have to have a car.

I hadn't realized there's such a big following of the smaller scooters. I guess I'm just shocked b/c a 50cc scooter wouldn't last here in the big city. A friend of a friend gets honked every time he's on the high traffic streets. Guess he needs to read up on this forum and get that Yamaha Vino 50 up to 45mph. If I knew the Vino 50 could have been modded to go so fast and could get a better price, I would have strongly considered it. The physical size still bothers me though. Still cool to watch you guys mod your scoots.

I polled "125" because of the Honda PCX, but have owned from 50cc to 600cc since bein' a Member here.....I just like Scooters, Motorcycles, and Trikes. Generally have more fun with the scooters in the 50 to 150 size though.....#1..
