Try Moto Strada in Baltimore, also there's a Vespa Boutique in DC that's good. JT Motorsports in Hagerstown, then there's always your local YMC dealer. But my suggestion is try talking to Mark over at Moto Strada (http://www.motostrada.com/main.html) .

Called Moto Strada once- remember on the old boards? A pipe was $600 installed with weights.

I am going to go with them if I can't find anyone else but even you KV said that was a bit on the high side.

.... to do the work yourself then you HAVE to pay for QUALITY work?

THat is if it is quality work? I think you should work on your own scooter.

I'll tell you something that makes me feel good. When I tear a "vehicle" apart, usually every nut and bolt!! And do you know what feels even better?? YUP when you make it BETTER!! That way when you explain you sticker "yes its fast, no you cannot ride it" you can mean it. And in the back of your mind your only thinking about all those nuts and bolts and blood sweat and tears that went into your project and it is the best high. I am getting teary eyed right now........

Mark, talk with... Mark the owner. Their labor charge is only 60 an hour, and I don't see a pipe being a 10 hour job! I wonder if you got talk to one of the kids who worked there who was one of the Vespa snobs.

I don't mind payinig for good work- I had no clue what it would cost so I posted it here and every one said that was a rip off...

The dude I talked with told me he had to order the pipe for full price since they don't order Zuma pipes and blah blah blah, they don't do Zuma's but would squeeze me in and blah blah blah and it will take a lot longer since they have never done one before and blah blah blah..

I will drop some names next time I give them a buzz but really I didn't get a good vibe from the shop to start with. I heard they were good, but was under the impression they were good with everything other than Zuma by the way the dude talked to me. I would rather try to find someone that has worked on a Zuma before and not be the trial idiot's bike.

They get a bunch of kids in there. Mark's the owner, and an overall good guy, also he's the mech there and is pretty good.
