I was thinking about taking the Venice badges off the sides even though they seem to be riveted in at 4 spots. Has anyone done this?

I have taken off the Venice name Plates. All you need to do is lay on your back and use a small (very small) flathead screwdriver to lift the tabs on the retainer nuts and remove them. Be aware that the nameplate is also glued. Gently tug at it around the edges to slowly losen and remove. You can get rid of the remaining glue with some dawn dishwashing liquid and some 409 or any degreaser. Use only a little and wipe off quickly with water. Take your time and don't rub too hard. you may not get it all, but that is ok... Wait a couple of days and just gently clean. It will come off... When I was finished,
I made the holes a little bigger and used filliment bulbs to fill them. I used 2 red and 2 yellow on each side. The red I connected to the running light wire for the tail light. The yellow lights were connected to the blinkers.. It is most awesome. I am doing a large list of mods over the next few weeks and will have part of my website at www.ZenTiger.com dedicated to in depth and proven TN'G Venice mods to include adding a stereo and speedo update as well as a host of others. Be patient with the info as I have a lot to do and I
am waiting for parts through the mail and will post when I am finished. I have some good people to help me do all the mods and we are all excited to see our ideas in action.......... Have a Beautiful Day..........
